IA, he was hot when he was a beast, but his human self was kind of disappointing. Not bad looking, but after seeing him as beast it was a letdown. He didn't look ~interesting~ enough.

(I mean, whatever, he was happy, but...HE WASN'T AS HOT.)

I had the same reaction when I saw the musical. I was so disappointed because the Beast looked and sounded kind of hot, and then he was just a plain dude. Poor Belle!

Haha, yea, I feel like Belle got the short end of the stick in this situation. Poor girl had herself a hot looking beast then he turns into some normal dude. The tragedy.

(I have not seen the musical but if the difference is anything like the film, I completely understand.)
