I just signed up for a twitter account just so I could enter an online giveaway. I sort of understand twitter but it's not something I care to use. It's the same with Pinterest and Instagram. They are just there. I follow complete strangers just for the chance to win a giveaway (which hasn't happened yet), not actively use them. I don't get why would you 'pin' an image, is there a special use for it?

I guess my ramble doesn't have a point. Which probably jives with no point really in signing up for stuff that won't happen anyway. Maybe I should go to bed now.

Twitter always struck me as totally pointless. Pinterest is enjoyable, but I don't really see that as "social media"...

From what I've gathered Pinterest is mostly for keeping reference photos and links (via photos).
