When I was in high school, I flirted with a teacher at a holiday dance because he looked like a student. (Seriously, even looking at his picture in my high school yearbook you'd think he was sixteen or seventeen.) Fortunately he told me he was a teacher. Poor me ran out of there and hid in the bathroom for an hour. I was humiliated. No wonder I stopped being comfortable flirting

I laugh about it now, though part of me can't help but think how lucky I am he ended up being a decent person, because holy shit, if he hadn't been... the way this story might have ended. O_o
