How do you deal with the heat?
My favorites, though weird: when I head out, I put some PJ's/home clothes in the freezer. When I get home boiling, I pull them out of my freezer and practically run to my room to pull them on while they're still cold. It feels a little weird because my skin translates the cold as "wet" for the first minute or two even though they're not, but either way they feel great. If they don't wrinkle easily, I'll put clothes that I plan to go out in, in the freezer too, as far ahead of when I'm actually going out as I can.
The other thing I do is keep moisturizer in the fridge. It feels heavenly when I rub it into my skin.
What are some things you do?
Re: How do you deal with the heat?
Also I don't wear clothes when I'm alone.
Re: How do you deal with the heat?
also, lots of fruits and liquids. and a wet towel over my shoulders.
Re: How do you deal with the heat?
I just leave my window open 24/7 and wear earplugs to deal with the noise. My window doesn't open far enough to let cold air in fast enough.
I also get my wrists wet because that's where the blood is near the surface, and eat food that's so spicy people joke about it being murder.
Re: How do you deal with the heat?
I'm going to try your moisturizer in the fridge trick. That sounds like a lifesaver. (Funnily enough, I have done that with melted cream but never thought to do it at any other time.)

I had to do that for the first time a couple days ago. Now it's back to my electric blanket. -_-
Re: How do you deal with the heat?
The cats get cubes of ice in their water. One really bad summer, I would put damp pillowcases in the freezer and then cover them. That they always held still and tolerated this told me it was very needed.

I don't really ever get too hot unless I've been exercising. Wearing shorts and a sports bra/tank all day puts me at just about the right temp when it's hot if I'm resting. Unless I'm at my parents' house, I have to bundle up there because air conditioning :(
