Re: What is something you hate doing but everyone you know loves?
Well, I know it takes skill so I don't mind people appreciating them for that, but when people worship them it's a bit unsettling. I just don't get it. (But at the same time, I'm sure there are things I like that completely stump other people. My mom doesn't get video games. *shrugs*)
I feel like hockey would be the most fun to watch...not sure why. (The best 'hockey' memories I have are playing this hockey video game as a kid and punching the shit out of other players.)
Re: What is something you hate doing but everyone you know loves?
Ha, true, my over-attachment to fictional characters would be strange to a great many people. (And for the most part I don't judge but I have learnt over the years to be very, very wary of deeply fanatical football supporters, but having a favourite team isn't instant grounds for 'you are a gigantic butthole'.)
I typically watch some when it's the winter Olympics because it's pretty much the only time it ever airs over here, there's probably some backwater sports channel that shows European ice-hockey but I have no idea which one it would be, and I've enjoyed what I've seen of it.

I THOUGHT THAT WAS MADE UP. OMG. Thank you for telling me this. xD
Re: What is something you hate doing but everyone you know loves?
I agree. There's nothing wrong with supporting your team but when people start rioting because the team they liked lost, or get in physical altercations over it...that's too far. It isn't worth it.
Ooo, the Olympics. ...Don't watch that either. Maybe one of these days I should do that... I think hockey would be fun, but then again I can't skate so that would be a total fucking disaster.
Nope, it was an actual hockey game! My brothers love for sports extended to sports games, so I spent some time sighing while he hogged the console. The only sports game I kind of enjoyed was the hockey one because you could start fights. That's literally the only reason I played it.
Re: What is something you hate doing but everyone you know loves?
Agreed, I've actually seen a punchup happen in a pub because of a sports team loosing and sure they got kicked out but that was still scary to be near.
I usually end up with it on TV 'cause there are certain events I like watching and it's only for two weeks anyway. Ha, I can skate but not with any kind of speed or grace, I just manage to not face-plant into the floor.
Ngl I would have played that just to start fights, hell all those stupid Fifa games(soccer video games) would be a hell of a lot more fun if you could go and kick another player in the shins.
