It's been in the UK for several years now (several series & Christmas specials). Perhaps it's just started showing in other countries?

It's been available on Amazon US streaming for a while, which is where I first encountered it, but I think it's a season behind. It's not particularly well known in the US, I think. Which is a shame, because it's very good!
