I doubt people who wanted to ridicule overt femininity would invest so much time, energy, and resources into the activity, even turning it into their way of life, a part of their identity. But that's just me.

Now the average guy who isn't a drag queen might do drag occasionally "for the lulz", and there's probably mockery in that, but I'm usually fine with it too. Anything taken to extremes can be ridiculous. We should poke fun at exaggerated machismo more often.

Oh, some drag queens can be misogynists, and they deserve to be called out on it. I don't know it's a fair generalization.
