Re: Songs/bands with female vocalists

If you're okay with just songs with female vocalists, probably one of my all time favorites is "Pe Na Estrada" by Mo' Horizions. You could call it a reboot of "Hit the Road Jack" sung from the female point of view. It's amazing with kick ass organ solos, bright horns, and a catchy beat. Did I mention the lyrics are in Portuguese?

Likewise, after looking at all the group/vocalist names posted here, I'd like to add Brand New Heavies and Soul II Soul to the mix.
