I think the stupid boots and miniskirts on everyone were done to hide the parts of the characters where the designers just didn't even bother to figure out what it looked like, but it still looks dumb as hell and their bodies are so weird and gross.

And I think Fluttershy in a miniskirt is even worse than RD in one.

I just thought the boots were done like that because they resemble the shape of horse hooves...
