I called. If I waited until Monday, when I'm meant to be at the jobcentre next, then it would be too late to cancel my dentist appointment if I didn't get my own way.

Asking for a supervisor does nothing with the jobcentre. Half the time you just get put on hold then the same person comes back putting on a fake voice and proceeds to say the same damn thing.

The attitude is that if you're a jobseeker you don't deserve to have other plans, other needs, other appointments made months in advance. If you're told to do something, then you bloody well do it or we'll cut off your only income because we can.

Just got three rejection emails this morning, so a wee bit bitter/angry atm.
