Fuck yes! It will feature a new dub and be totally uncut. I'm excited, though kinda disappointed since for all its faults and needless edits, I'm fond of the old dub. Wish they'd offer it too.

The big question is, will Zoicyte be male or female?

It says right there in the article that everything will be intact. Relationships, names and characters won't be altered.

Wow, they even got Stars. I will miss the old dub a bit for nostalgia's sake, but this is still awesome.

New voice cast

Nothanks. I guess it's just too much nostalgia, but I HATED Serena's VA after the Rini/Dark Lady arc. I just can't hear her being voiced by anyone else. Same goes for the other sailors. It's nice that a new generation of kids gets to see it, though.

The interview also confirms this version will be true to the original in names and relationships. Yes to male Zoicite, yes to all of Haruka and Michiru. YES!

The original article linked confirms all that as well. I guess I should have specigied that. Though i thiught saying incut would convey that. Heh.

And oh my god, it does look great. I'm so excited!

I'm so happy to hear this! It's a shame they'll lose the original casts, but it'll be so great to finally get to see the original anime the way it always should have been, before the manga-centric anime comes about. Gonna rewatch the whole series and see if it holds up to my nostalgia.

There's a chance that some of the old VAs could return. A ton of the cast from the old dubs will be at Anime Expo and in the interview Viz said they'd announce the cast for the new dub at Anime Expo.

Apparently the old dubs are unavailable to Viz. Which is a bit of a shame, but I'm glad to finally see Stars finally brought over and Sailor Moon licensed again. I'm going to buy this asap.

Oh, that would be nice! I'm particular towards Usagi and Rei's English VAs, I'd like to hear from them again.

It really would be!! Usagi had quite a few English VAs and so did Rei. Which ones did you like? I'm hiping Haruka and Michiru's English VAs return. I really liked them. Especially Haruka's.

Don't worry about it. It has been years for me roo and I barely remember all of the voices. Oh my god, that clip! So much nostalgia! I love Rei's and Makoto's voices there. I guess tonight willwillbe Sailor Moon nostalgia night. Going to look up alk the old dub clips I can.

Huh, at the end of the trailer they said they were streaming the new dub starting this Monday. Or did they mean they're streaming the sub then?? So confused

It says in the interview that the studio and cast will be announced at AX.

It also says in the trailer that they're streaming episodes on their site/hulu starting May 19th 2014, and that new episodes would be ever Monday.

Huh. I'm assuming that the sub will be what's going to be streamed. The inteview mentions that the dub is in its infancy so I doubt it is the dub. Have to wait and see.

Just, DO NOT WANT. I get that in Japan sounding live a five year old is a thing and Naoko likes that, but why does it have to be that way in the English cast? They couldn't find someone who sounds like a teenager? Bleh

This and 'Crystal' will help tide me over until Star Wars Rebels starts this fall. Oh, I can feel the nostalgia flowing forth with a vengeance!

Seriously though, I'm excited. I never really got to see 'Stars' in its entirety, and it'll be good to see things the way they originally were. Beautimous.
