I wouldn't admit to watching Kings if I were those fans. It was that rare combination of irritating and forgettable. Same for Political Animals. There was a reason that stuff got canceled.

Out of curious, does he show up a lot in Kings or Political Animals? I really loved his performance in the Captain America movies (and apparently he has a career in playing characters with serious issues, which is exactly the kind of thing I love), so I want to find other stuff he's been in. He's already about 1/3 the reason I'm considering Once Upon a Time (the other 2/3 being my friends).

He's one of the main characters in both those series - he plays pretty much the same role in both, haha (tortured gay son of a powerful political figure). He was fantastic in Kings IMO, he has a scene with Ian McShane in the first episode that pretty much single-handedly made me a fan of him when I watched that show. But I also genuinely loved Kings, despite the actors who played David and Michelle being total blocks of wood. Political Animals was more of a mess.

Also keep in mind that his character in both Kings and PA is pretty much all hurt, no comfort. Ever.

I feel like such a terrible person for saying this, but YAY.

Ha, I love a good tortured character and Sebastian Stan is certainly perfect for roles like that. But man, after Kings and PA I really want him to take up a role of a happy gay son of a powerful political figure whose life is A++ and who's in a great relationship and nothing goes wrong for him ever. Just to make up for the endless suffering of prince Jack and TJ Hammond.

Political Animals wasn't cancelled, it was a mini-series that was supposed to run this short.

Also, PA was actually good, whereas Kings was just terrible. Kings didn't even bother to hire an actor for their main character who could actually act, for god's sake.

Naaah, PA was a mess. David and Michelle on Kings were blocks of wood, but the rest was great.
