Is he not awesome? I know he's not in the movie very much but I was led to believe the parts he was in were fantastic.

He is not, except by comparison to the Emmerich version (of course compared to that version fucking Godzooky was the balls). They are too brief to be anything much, and there isn't much camera linger on him. Apparently they spent all the CGI money on animating Bryan Cranston, no money left for Godzilla shots.

I think what made me enjoy the movie the most was how well it was shot. There are some truly creative shots of the monster and things relating to it and the CGI is amazing. I thought he was awesome, and the fade-out before the credits was beautiful.
