I'd rather you didn't commit suicide, but I don't belief in declaring anyone subhuman. That line of thought has not worked out well for anyone. If those people are mentally ill, and the evidence is beginning to stack up that way, then yes they are as much victims as the others involved.

I'd hesitate to say they're victims on the same level as the people they've hurt.

What's important to society is that they're confined. Curing them would be nice, but nobody should expect that they'll ever be fully trusted.

Sad, but true.
