Hmm... I don't know for sure, but probably the first thing I got really nerdy over was Doctor Who, when I got into tracking down as many novelizations of the show as I could dig out of the local library, and started buying the New Adventures novels, and then found the font of videos my local store had.

I might be able to count my first online fandom as Star Treek, or maybe just SevTrek - a parody webcomic I found, though I had a moderate interest in Baldur's Gate even then, and by the time I got my own computer I ended up landing in the Attic (a BG fanfic message board).
