ETA the above post reminded me that I do get allergies, but they aren't that bad for me anymore. The year I got hives was the worst (I got antihistamines, but they made me fall asleep in class, ugh).

Everyone I know loves fall the most, but I associate it with school starting, and in general seem to get depressed around that time of year. I do like Halloween and fall leaves, but that's pretty much only October.

I actually used to love fall just for that reason, because I enjoyed school in middle and high school and looked forward to it, especially the start of another music year and marching season.

Now when I get the feel, smells, sounds, and sights that bring me back mentally to those times, I get pretty sad. :( so it's like a love-hate.
