Yes! Exactly. Apples, and pies, and cider, and cinnamon, and nutmeg, and pumpkin, and all those things.

And that's the thing about those border seasons; it's hard to define where exactly they start and end. Late August through into October or November. They're in that transition period as summer fades and winter comes in, or vice versa for the spring. I kind of like that. It's tricky, but I like it.

Fall isn't my favorite overall but IT HAS THE BEST FOOD, there is no denying this. mmmm.

You left out caramel. Apples with caramel. Veggie stuffing for Thanksgiving. Cider is the fuckin best. Baked squash, pumpkin and cinnamon and nutmeg like you said....yummmm
