I'm coming to realize that outside of the internet and people who live miles away, I really don't have any friends. The ones I do have either never want to hang out, or when we do, we have nothing to talk about. And I feel like being thirty and friendless is hard, because everyone else already has an established social group.

I don't hate it, but it'd be nice not to have to hang out with my parents and their friends if I want to do something social on a Saturday night. Like this one.

I can kinda relate, though when the few friends I do have IRL come to hangout, we do have stuff to talk about, but hanging out rarely occurs. I for the most part don't hate it either, though I think I'm having serious..."cravings" or urges to do things that are being driven by needing to have some sort of interaction with other people. Grant it, I don't have anyone to talk to on the internet, so that's probably a large difference.
