How do you find friends, FS?

I've been realizing recently that I'm still a big dumb kid and I would really really love to go play 'Capture the Flag' or 'Manhunt' or 'Ghosts in the Graveyard' with a bunch of people, or maybe play paintball or go skydiving or something. Even just hiking a mountain trail or taking a martial arts class together would be fun. Problem is, the very few people I know in RL either don't have the time or don't have the energy. (I'm kind of a ball of adrenaline and hard to keep up with.)

So, where do you find friends? Or maybe just people with similar interests to yours? I'm getting really stir-crazy and desperate, so I'll try anything at this point.

Omg capture the flag and manhunt are so quality, I wish I could be playing those right now, I hope you play it legit with a huge area and like sneaking and big teams and stuff!
(I've never heard of ghosts in the graveyard so I went to look it up and found this wikihow with these rly weird pictures and I just thought everyone should know)
Anyway, I guess you could look and see if your area has any sort of adventure club, outing club, that sort of thing? Meet people there and then make them all come to your house and play manhunt, sounds like a solid plan to me.

If you're in college and up for it, working at a summer camp will probably find you people with similar interests.

Weeeeell, you could always start going to a martial arts class and see if you make friends through that. Or maybe join an orienteering or rock climbing society?

Also, there are a lot of activity groups (bush walking, adventure, scavenger hunts, rock climbing, basically anything you can think of) on meetup.com and there's probably a suitable one in your area. Go along to some of those and chat to a few people, have fun, maybe see whether they'd be interested in a big 'capture the flag' game or something. Alternatively, start your own group for that very purpose!

Seriously, I think meetup.com would be your best bet. It sounds exactly what you need :)
