Chard :(

I am a straight woman who finds chubby men ridiculously hot even though most of my straight female friends only talk about how they love abs and lean arms (though I do know two girls IRL who love chubby guys as well). And I'm pretty sure if I exist my straight, male equivalent much exist, even if they are in the minority.

Plus, I don't really get your distinction - when I'm attracted to a skinny guy, I don't think 'I find this guy hot despite his skinniness', I just think he falls into the spectrum of people I find attractive. Or, from another perspective, when I see some of my plump female friends with their boyfriends and see how clearly enamoured their boyfriends are with them, I can't think of how your distinction helps describe their relationship in any way. Like, if their boyfriends find them hot despite their plumpness, as you say, but still find them hotter than a whole lot of skinny women, then...?

If you're going to think that way, then you may as well say there is no any man could genuinely be attracted to any woman who doesn't look like a 16 year old swimsuit model, because evo!psych!yay!, and any man who claims otherwise is just lying so he can get sex/appear to conform to societal norms. It doesn't help anyone, and on top f that it just makes it harder for shy guys who do like plumper women to be open about it.
