No, it's just that the other non-European English-speaking countries love Eurovision. Didn't you see Australia's half-time show?

Eurovision has gotten very popular in America, but Europe deliberately ignores that fact.

(Kidding, but seriously, they could give us a shout-out! We have a whole Eurovision Channel here now, so it's not like they just don't know.)

I didn't know that! Last year I was spoiled for the result by an American who was genuinely surprised that anyone else outside Europe watched it at all!
