Right after this we had one blind with a concussion and another dead on that very same pile. :P

oh, so it's about Homestuck. Pretty violent, but if they have fun...

What's the pairing, btw?

Eridan/Sollux/Fefari.

Sollux and Fefari, or SolFef, is canon.

She's kissing his corpse, which was literally screamed to a horrific painful death by an Eldritch abomination (don't worry he's okay despite being horribly dead, he doesn't die permanently until later. ) did I mention Homestuck is about KIDS AND FUN!?!

Anyway, the third person involved, Eridan, was Fefari's friend in a formal capacity called moirallegiance. This is considered a romantic but not sexual relationship in troll culture. He wanted a more physically intimate relationship then this. She broke up with him in the one capacity and shot him down in the other all in one go, while also getting with Sollux in that same romantic capacity. Now Sollux already hated Eridan, who hates him right back but also wants to fuck him, and still loves Fefari but also kinda hates her because she's not with him and also wants to fuck her still.

In troll romance, sleeping with somebody you hate is actually a viable thing. But neither of them has any sexual attraction to Eridan whatsoever. Shippers, of course, have different opinions on the subject. Though unlike most fandoms, there are so many shipping options in homestuck that we all pretty much get along, even the ships that contradict the other ships. The upswing of this? LOTS OF FANART.

You know what I wonder? Why doesn't anybody else ship Eridan<3<Feferi? I think it would be a really fascinating pairing. Especially because they were once moirails and they'd know exactly how to grate on each other for a really good rivalrous hatemance. It's always fluffy sugary redrom though. :(

I'd also like to see the kind of glorious trainwreck moirallegiance that Sollux<>Eridan would be but everybody ships it either red or black and never pale.

HOMESTUCK FAN PROBLEMS

My opinion is that Feferi might have actually wanted Eridan black, without ever admitting it to herself, but it would never work because Eridan doesn't and can't see her that way. I love it where they just can't ever come together in the same quadrant legitimately.

There is a really wonderful Erisol pale fanfic that I love, which I can't remember the name of off the top of my head, but can look up if you're interested. It's long and amazingly IC for them both, set in a no-SGRUB au session(am on the phone otherwise would have just looked for it automatically).

That was exactly what I thought! After she broke it off paleways, her further interactions with him seemed to come off as being kind of black on her part, especially that look she gave him when she tried to fork him (before he zapped her with the Empiricist Wand). I think they would have a really fascinating and unique dynamic in that quadrant.

Also let me know if you find that pale Erisol fic again when you have the chance! I'd love to give it a read.
