Attack on Titan, and it primarily happens to Sasha, because she's not gay and the fandom seems to have less respect for her than Annie or Mikasa.

She's usually the 'beard' for Jean so he can angst about banging Marco. I like Jean/Marco but I swear to fucking god the other shippers ...

I swear to fucking god I want that meme to die in a fire. She does ONE quirky thing that is totally justified with her backstory and suddenly she's a goddamn glutton. SHUT UUUUUUUUUUPPPP!!

Sasha is the potato girl obsessed with food. Jean looks like a horse. Eren is bloodthirsty and wants to kill titans. Hanji is a crazy irresponsible scientist obsessed with titans. Armin is a shota. Erwin is an embarrassing dad.
This is how ninety percent of SnK fandom does characterization, I swear

Aw man, really? Sasha's awesome, so that's pretty disappointing. Is it really widespread in the SNK fandom?

I've only seen it a few times but the fic that features it is REALLY REALLY popular so it seems like many fans have no problem with it.

For all that it matters, I've ran across many lovely Connie/Sasha fanfics, a cute Mikasa/Sasha one shot and an hilarious and ic Connie/Sasha/Jean one.
I'm not too fond of the fandom at large either but don't give up hope just yet.
