I've noticed that a lot of people seem to think they're the only sane man who realizes the truth, whether they think that everyone looks at excuses and treats them like legitimate explanations or that people take explanations and treat them like pathetic excuses. I'm no different. I know there are people who use their disorders as a way of excusing asshole behavior but I happen to think that most people are too quick to decide that someone is using an illness as an excuse when really they just want to explain. I've had so many bad experiences with that. I'm not even going to pretend to be at all unbiased here.
