He's not even in the top ten. Channing Tatum's washboard abs are out-earning him by a mile, and even Liam Neeson's old-man-as-asskicker-fantasy appeal to men brings in more dollars than Clooney's has-been looks. "Suave" doesn't last past looking like grandpa.

Sorry, he saw the ride was over, and settled for the best he could get now. Smart move on his part, frankly.

This might be true, but being older, good looking and still pretty damn rich isn't exactly a big obstacle to getting hot women, anon. Maybe you haven't noticed, but being older, HIDEOUS and pretty damn rich is also very effective. ALL of Clooney's recent girlfriends have been way younger and all have been hot, so this "maybe ten years ago" comment doesn't even make sense.

Yeah, but those hot young women dating those hideous older men are dating them for a) money or b) power, or c) both. They're not dating them because they're attracted to and/or in love with them. This is Clooney's last chance to snag a girl who still finds him charming and fuckable and put a ring on it.

So he took it. Smart man! A lot of guys wait until it's too late and wind up with nothing but golddiggers looking to run with the cash the second their prenup runs out.
