For me, I'm not bothered by Delphine still being paid to monitor her - Cosima agreed to it and it's a smart move - but Delphine is being a monitor even when she doesn't need to be. She's handing Cosima's blood over to Dyad against her wishes. She's hiding the fact that she was (is?) sleeping with Leekie and who knows what else. She's enjoying the perks of being with Cosima but disrespecting her agency at every turn.

And what does fandom do? Call her a puppy.

Right, I forgot that Cosima agreed to that. I guess for me it's then also just the whole Delphine being her monitor thing that makes their relationship seem less natural and skews the power balance between them.
I know, Delphine was sleeping with Leekie! And there's a chance she still might be, which would make Cosima and Delphine's relationship pretty darn fucked up right now. It's like most Cophine shippers pretend that never even happened.
