I agree that he's more attractive in this card than pretty much any other card/art he's appeared in. I still don't like him though and I dislike that he's become the Default Blue Planeswalker (I know we're never going back to Kamigawa but does that really mean we can't let Tamiyo have some time in the spotlight?)

...I feel like this would have been a better secret if it were about the Jace in the Jace vs Vraska duel decks. I care little who people ship Jace with, but I have trouble considering Vraska an option purely because of how bad Jace's card art is in that box.

I agree with you wholeheartedly about Jace's art in the Jace vs Vraska decks. I was first introduced to it through the story from their website, though, and that helped a lot.

And yeah, Tamiyo would be nice to have more of. I kind of wish we could get Kamigawa 2, just to give Tamiyo some more spotlight time. Jace was kind of the default blue planeswalker from the beginning, though, same way as the rest of the Lorwyn ones are for their colors.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, this one and the matching Chandra (http://www.wizards.com/mtg/images/daily/arcana/481_chandra.jpg) are all there is. I kind of wish they'd do more, they're pretty, but I don't work for Wizards.

Japanese Magic cards have always looked pretty cool.

That artwork is for a promo run of Jace vs Chandra that was printed in Japanese only to promote the MtG manga that was released around that time. The art in the new Jace and Chandra cards was done by the manga's artist, Yoshino Himori.
