To be fair, still not as bad as if they had kept the X-Men in yellow spandex.

True. True.

The only time I was upset with the movie costuming was when they made Mystique naked rather than having her in her white dress. Heck, I would have been happy to see in her a white shirt and short shorts. Like another version of her outfit. Just not running around naked.

Aw, same. I mean, I think her movie character design is amazingly clever, but she's not really "Mystique" to me. I wish they'd have done something with the skull belt, too, maybe. Or hell even this look: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/bb/Mystique11.png

Oh, yeah. That would have been great. Just anything that didn't scream, "Hey, I am here for eye candy!" Because it was bad enough she had almost next to no lines in any of the three original movies. Also, what is with Singer and his need to do that with his female villains? Emma Frost was almost written the same way Mystique was written. Almost no lines. Just a few scenes where she uses her powers to look cool and deadly.

Emma Frost really was the only character that truly jarred me. She, just wasn't like Emma Frost at all. And it sucks because I do rather like the movies. Going to see Days of the Fuure Past tomorrow, hopefully.
