Professor Layton. The weird part is that the fic wasn't nearly as bad back in the days of the original trilogy. I'm not sure how much Tumblr had to to with the decline in quality or if it was more declining sales/older fans drifting out and newer, younger fans coming in (I'm pretty sure most of the BNFs currently in the fandom are in their teens—mostly the 17–19 range).
