Okay, I am joking a little, but seriously, they're the only type of dog I've ever been bitten by.

I actually do feel kind of bad for them, but at the same time, they're just so annoying, and I feel like they never get trained properly because awwww they're so tiny and cute and couldn't hurt anyone! (As someone above pointed out.)

Yeah, it's kind of funny really; I've only ever been bitten by a chihuahua, and my dad has only ever been bitten by poodles and poodle-types, but he is adamant about hating breeds like Pit Bulls, because those! Those are teh evil dogs!

The two times in my life that I have almost been bitten by dogs were both Labs or Lab mixes.

So much for being 'sweet family dogs.'

Oh yeah, I'm fine! But it just goes to show you that any sort of dog can be vicious, especially since (in both cases) I had done absolutely nothing to provoke the dogs. In one case I'd just been walking down the opposite side of the street when it came charging across the street at me snarling and growling.

Meanwhile, every single pit bull I've ever met has attempted to lick me to death.

My goal in life is to be able to have a house where I can rescue pit bulls and gray hounds and other things, but mostly pit bulls. |D

Yeah but, consider this: an aggressive Chihuahua might give you a little nip on the finger. An aggressive Pit Bull can kill you.

Well, yes and no I mean, technically there's no such thing as a "pit bull" and I know that I've been guilty of using the umbrella term all up and down this thread, but the "pit bull" is more of a visual marker, so when a dog attacks, people tend to assume it's a "pit bull" if it looks like a "pit bull" whatever that means. Okay, maybe not chihuahua's, they're kind of pathetic, but frankly? Almost any kind of dog can be vicious and kill if you're not careful. And yes, they can kill.

Okay, but this Chihuahua was annoying and able to get out and vicious. It was lucky it ran into me, and not one of the neighborhood's smaller children.
