Re: School Dress Codes

Yeah, I agree with you on the badly made front.

Until my school changed their uniform the sweaters smelt like wet dog whenever they got wet and did nothing to keep the cold out.

I also agree about the anal regulating, although my experience wasn't as bad as yours. That all sounds horrible.

At my school we weren't allowed to wear coats in winter, just the school scarf. And it HAD to be the school scarf, not a plain black one or one with the school colours on it, it HAD to be the $50 school scarf from the school shop.

I also remember the Vice Principle hating my shoes. They were normal black leather school shoes that had a tiny 1/2 inch high heel, totally unnoticeable. I even checked the rules and it said nothing about heels. So I wore them, and then got told off.

That was the start of a 2 year long battle that ended with her making a point of ignoring how terrible and awful my scandalous shoes were.
