Re: Days of Future Past (spoilers) - retry

I re-watched first class before seeing this - nd I must say, I think this is in some ways the better movie. First Class had great moments (like Magneto's past, or the whole training sequence) but I feel this one's more balanced and the acting also seemed up a notch for me.

Rogue was almost not in the movie except at the very end, and didn't use her powers, but there's no indication of being depowered. However, while I'm fuzzy on all the storylines over the years, I do believe Rogue was depowered in the comics several time, too.

When I started reading them she was a flyer and super-strong (having permanently taken Carol Danvers' powers). But even her "touch" powers were temporarily gone in the comics.
