Ugh, Tony in Iron Man 3 killed me. I loved seeing Pepper in the suit even if it was only a minute, and that Tony thought to protect her in an emergency... My heart.

He was a mess but still trying to do the right thing and man it was nice to actually see repercussions from being a superhero(which we also got hints of in Cap 2 as well, the MCU man, ugh). Yesssss her in the suit was fantastic, and I too loved that his first action was to get her out of harms way knowing that she would protect him in return.

I love Marvel for exploring depression and PTSD in a realistic manner. What better place than a blockbuster? (Not even being sarcastic, I think it's important to show that these people's lives aren't perfect and yea, there are repercussions. It also normalizes it in a way, and it's always good for people to see heroic figures going through real world issues.)

Tony IS a genius. Oh, also that line about her always having been perfect. Ugh. That movie...

Agreed, it's a good thing and something I'm really glad that they're showing and exploring.

It was gooooooood, not just for Tony/Pepper feelings but for seeing how Tony doesn't need the suit to be a hero, and Rhodey got so much to do, I was really happy about that.

Yea, I love Rhodey too. (And Tony and Rhodey's friendship. They're cute.) Along with Pepper those two make these movies even more special. (Which is saying something because... RDJ IS Iron Man.)

And the scenes with the kid! And the poncho. Damn that was a good movie.
