Title is somewhat ridiculous, because I'm only 25. But I just had a birthday, and I spent it with family, who kept asking me what presents I wanted, because I'm famously hard to buy for and don't really need anything. I answered "I don't really want any stuff, I just want to enjoy the day and spend time with all of you!" And then I had to laugh, because I sounded exactly like my mother and it made me feel unaccountably old. XD

Ever had a moment that made you feel, not just like an adult, but really old?

I turn 36 in July. I feel this way when there are new employees at work that are younger than me (wait you graduated when?!) and many times online.

Talking to my younger cousin on Mother's Day and coming to the disturbing realisation that I just had a reasonably intelligent conversation with someone who wasn't even alive in the twentieth century.
