Thank you!

Ah yeah, school. I feel you. We had bio lab today, and it was mostly number crunching- BUT! We didn't have to go into the field again, which was good because last week the field was stressful and had poison oak. So glad we're done with that. ^^;

I don't object to working in the field in general, but specifically when it came to this lab...? Yeah...

What is it specifically about this lab? Just the poison oak? (I've never had the stuff, is it bad?)

It was the lab: we had to do a field study, which wouldn't have been so bad, except for some of the things we were doing, we were using tools that no one had ever used before, and because we were out in the woods, there wasn't really a way for the ta's to teach the class how to use them. Like, I've learned how to use things I didn't know how to use in bio lab before, but things like scalpels? Are pretty self-explanatory. A machine to calculate teh amount of light is in a certain area? Not so much, especially since none of us were even told which of the units that the machine counted in we were supposed to use, giving the class numbers from 28~3000 for that particular section.

If we had learned how to use some of the stuff the week before, that mightn't have been as bad, but... Even the ta's were apologizing in lab this week because last week was bad.

The possibility of poison oak didn't help.

ugh, that sounds frustrating. I hope you ended up doing ok on it.

Did anyone actually end up getting poison oak?

Yeah, as long as I can explain the paper in terms of bad data, I should be fine.

I don't know, but I wasn't actually asking around. ^^;

Well, I'm glad you didn't get it!
