I know a lot of people that treated everywhere they lived until at least their mid twenties as temporary, with their parents house as "home". Now that those people are making $$$ and have a long term job/plan, they're making homes (and if we lived somewhere where buying a house wasn't laughably out of reach they'd probably do that).
It makes sense, really. Just not my style.
