idk if it counts, but when i was in a band we had this concept live acoustic thing (it was terrible but that's irrelevant) and it was about a guy who sold the earth to aliens (because of the man who sold the world, get it?), so we dressed up as aliens. turns out it's quite hard to play drums with a mask over your face and crochet tentacles on your sleeves.

Girls had to wear a different apron than guys at one place I worked because, according to the manager, we needed more "support" [for our breasts].

An Easter bunny costume. It was such a shittily made one, too, and not a single kid really believed I wasn't some idiot in pajamas. Embarrassing.

A fire-retardant jumpsuit and hard hat... while in the middle of an empty field doing nothing with fire, electricity, highly flammable materials, or heavy machinery and with nothing over my head but empty sky. It involved an unbuilt gas pipeline so I had to follow all the energy company's safety rules because the particular supervisor in charge wouldn't let me skip anything even though there was no chance whatsoever anything would happen that that form of protective gear would help with.
