Ugh, I hear you on the constant season renewals. I think a lot of shows would be so much better if they had a clear story arc with a beginning, middle, and end planned out from the start. But no, we have to keep them going as long as possible so they can keep making money.

To be honest, this is the main reason I've stopped watching live-action television. I got tired of shows being dragged out far past when they should have ended for the sake of the story. Either that or canceled partway through.
