Heh. I don't know if you watch Bones, but Cam and Arastoo have been an item for a while now. When that tidbit was first revealed, people were all up in arms because she's his boss. While I can understand that concern, I admit that my parents had a similar superior/subordinate relationship professionally while being romantically involved. Thus, I can sympathize. Plus, they're a mixed race couple with great book smarts AND emotional intelligence. I wish they got more support from the fans, but I honestly think their work relationship is getting in the way of that. :(

(As for the teacher/student bit you mentioned earlier, I used to like it in high school, but then there was a bizarre encounter with my band teacher rubbing my foot, so I tend to avoid that. That's just me, though, and I leave people alone who like any instances of those dynamics.)

Awwww, they sound great! I haven't watched Bones in a long time because. . . I don't know, I just got tired of the writers not knowing what to do with Dr. Brennan, but it sounds like a relationship I would enjoy. The boss / subordinate thing doesn't bother me too much in fiction.

Teacher / student DOES bother me. . . except for this one indestructible ship I imprinted on when I was 13.

Yeah, I've never really understood the vitriol boss/subordinate sometimes gets. While I can see the ethical and professional concerns, getting into a fit over it seems ridiculous because it happens a lot. And yeah, I agree that Cam/Arastoo is great. It's pretty the only reason I bother to keep tabs on the show.
