Re: Wolfenstein: The New Order (and other video games)

I feel I am, for the most part, the only person who likes Oblivion, since when people talk about the Elder Scrolls you either liked Morrowind or you liked Skyrim, and thought Oblivion was either meh or terrible, because Morrowind (or Skyrim, but I haven't really heard that one yet).

I would not be opposed if someone made all of Fallout 2 on the New Vegas engine, or better yet, whatever engine they use for Fallout 4; I'd really like to see 2 (or 1) again, but plays like 3 or NV.

I'm gonna say Skyrim trumps the rest, because Morrowind is fucking awful. So there, I'm the first person you've ever heard say that.

The fundamental problem with Fallout 1 and 2 is that it's... well, it probably wouldn't be the same kind of game as Fallout 3/NV. Fallout 1/2 is basically Ultima with guns, whereas 3/NV are Elder Scrolls with guns.

They could probably do something like what Wasteland 2 is doing, though.
