I work at a store that may or may not claim to be more magical than any other toy store, so I pretty much love singing whatever song my store is playing. My favorite now is "Happy Working Song" from Enchanted. And even though I've come to hate it, it's still fun to sing "Let it Go" out loud.

"Part of Your World" is probably my favorite Disney song to sing out loud, even if it's not my favorite Disney song, princess, or movie. It's just really fun. We played it a lot last year when The Little Mermaid was coming out of the vault. We played the Frozen soundtrack for a solid, good two months so "For the First Time in Forever" is also fun. I also like "Just around the Riverbend" from Pocahontas.

As for non-Disney songs, "I Got You Babe" is fun. Ooh! Or Taylor Swift's "22" and "We are Never, Ever Getting Back Together."

My sister's favorite music is from The Little Mermaid (followed by The Jungle Book). Is it fun working in a toy store?

Yes and no. I like having fun with all the cute kids or the ones who just talk to me about everything. But I also deal with a lot of brats. And I'm not just talking about kids. Because Frozen is so popular, I've been yelled at because we never have anything from that movie. I've been told that I, personally, have ruined Christmas, Easter, and birthdays. So yeah. I'd rather deal with the kids than the parents. Most of the time, they're much nicer and easier to please.

Give the kid a sticker, and they'll be happy for half an hour. Tell the parent "have a magical day" and they'll tell you not to talk to them like they're five.

Of course, I'm only talking about the bad stuff. Overall, I'm very happy with my job. It's fun for the most part and I get paid to belt out Disney songs with little kids. There's more to do here than a regular retail job. Which, I guess, if you just want a chill retail job, then it's not fun. :P
