I don't know which fansom is worse when it comes trying to analyzing every little ibteraction for shipping, Bleach or Naruto.

Poor Sakura, you're always screwed over so the boys can shine. And poor Hinata, you're damn near always forgotten and left on the sidelines. Sakura and Hinata should forget about those two dumbasses and get together instead.

Anyway, you forgot to mention the most important part. Kishimoto remembered that Yamato exists.

I did mention it in a second comment above yours :p And yes, it's kind of sad how Sakura is being pushed back into her Sasuke obsession again.

Haha, I didn't notice the second comment til after I posted that.

Sakura had so much fucking potential and Kishimoto just squandered it. Instead of continuing to flesh her out and give her more battle prowess, he's got her falling back to being all about Sasuke. She could have been an awesome medic as well as a ninja and she was to an extent, but now the boys are back she can't shine anymore. It is depressing.

I hope she ends up doing something to help and doesn't just sit on the sidelines with Kakashi the entire time. Did she really have to struggle with stabbing Obito's eye? I don't think she'd be that indecisive now!

Sakura from the early parts of part 2 before it all went to hell would have never fucking struggled with it. With the Naruto and Sasuke back in the picture, I don't have much hope for her doing much. Especially wih whole Messiah!Naruto bullshit.

Considering Sasuke's comment about only his and Naruto's safety being important to save everyone, I wouldn't hold out much hope for Sakura either

Ugh, I want to shake both him and Kishimoto for that bullshit.

Since we're talking Naruto, who are your favorite characters? And when do you think it all started to go downhill?

And thanks for this, anon. I stopped reading a year ago and only pickrd up the chapters with Gai using the Eigth Gate before quitting again. I jist don't care that much anymore. It isn't worth it and it is just easier to stick with fanfic.

I think I just read it as habit now. I started reading back when I was fifteen, which was over ten years ago, so I figured I'd just gun it to the end. I feel old now haha. I wouldn't say I have a favorite, but some of the characters that I do like are Shikamaru, Gaara, Hinata. You know, characters that haven't been getting much time lately!

It's been going downhill for a while now I think, but it went off the cliff a hundred or so chapters ago with the start of the war/zombie ninjas. Naruto is just so obnoxiously overpowered now. I think Kakashi summed it up quite nicely. He's surpassed the Hokages now, so what's left of his story?

I was into the anime when I was a kid, but didn't start the manga until five years ago or so. I binge-read it and it was around that time it really started going downhill. Hard to believe it was ten years or so ago that it aired originally aired on tv. So I'm right there feeling old with you.

Same, my favorites are Gai, Lee, and Kakashi. Outside of Kakashi, they barely got any screentime. The secondary and minor characters are so much more interesting than the main ones imo.

You could start to see it unravel during the Sasuke retrieval arc but it wasn't terrible then. It was only around the Pein arc that shit really went south. The focus on the Uchihas and the War arc only made things worse.

Naruto and Madara are both obnoxiously overpowered. I can't decide which bothers me more tbh.

I've never watched the anime, just read the manga. The anime came a few years after the manga, I think!

Yeah, it did. But the anime first aired around ten years ago in the US and that's how I got into it.

I read it incorrectly, my bad!

Don't worry about it, anon. :)
