It depends on the video, for me. I usually read the comments on LPs, or commentaries; I avoid comments on music videos.

While some can be funny, 80% of them are still from illererate idiots who couldn't come up with an intelligent or considerate comment if their life was on the line.

I don't always like them, but I sometimes read in case there is something good.
But I have just scrolled up the moment I saw fights break out.

I try not to scroll down very often, because it's very hard to look away when they're beyond awful. The ones I least enjoy aren't the raging arguments and overly conservative ones, but the roleplayers. Why is surprise rp so embarrassing.

I had to use ad-block to block the comment section. Just decided it wasn't worth it.

For some reason youtube comments are the only place where I can have a screen-name/profile and still feel I could say the same shit most would only say under the cover of anonymous. Huh.

Sorry for the non fandom I forgot about the whole tumblr is not a fandom thing.

On why I like youtube comments: it's honestly the same reason I like fs. The thing with the internetis that it is very easy to create your own space snd not have any different oppinions. Youtube is one of the few places where al the terrible people go and have disagreements rather then staying in their own isolated zone. I get that most people would rather have them stay in the zone and never come out but I always think it is kind of interesting.
