"but there is *no way* Robin didn't know it was Regina that killed Marion"

Can you explain, please? I keep seeing this argument.

I don't get that argument either...Marian said she withheld her name to keep her family safe. She died anonymously.

At the beginning of the finale, we see Emma and Hook witness Regina terrorizing a village in her quest for Snow. She tells them that anyone who even thinks about helping Snow White will be punished, etc. etc. To show that she means business, she *very publicly* apprehends Marion, taking her away to be imprisoned and eventually killed. The whole point of this action was to spread the word that she would make good on her threat. She wanted people to know about it.

It follows that when Marion was executed, there were probably also many witnesses. Again, this was something she wanted to broadcast. Even if she didn't (for some reason) we still have the village full of people who saw her take Marion away, and once Marion was dead it wouldn't be hard to know who was responsible.

If Robin even made the slightest inquiry about Marion's fate, he would know who took her, why, and what happened.

It doesn't really jive with his line about her death being his fault (unless he wasn't around at the time she was taken, or he failed to rescue her in time) but then, that whole conversation doesn't make a lot of sense if in the back of his mind he's thinking, "Oh yeah, it was you that killed her, wasn't it?".
