It was fantastic.

A lot of readers hated it. I thought it was amazing, because while I love engaging, emotional story-lines, I kind of loved the decades when comic books were completely ridiculous. And the vent-crawling arm was a deliberate and wonderful callback to those decades.

Do you happen to know which issue(s) this was in or if it's in a graphic novel collection? (I think I need it in my life.)

If not, that's okay. I can just research it & find it. Thought I'd try the easy way first. :)

Captain America #33, a bit after everything went horrendously wrong (due to the Steve spoiler mentioned in other threads) and Bucky decided that Tony was to blame.

But the Russians got Bucky for a bit before that. So they took him and stole his arm. And his arm beat the hell out of them.
