Well how do you draw the line between rape and seduction? Honestly I thought this was seduction :/

Yeah, I'm usually pretty sensitive to dubcon and noncon tropes (some might say oversensitive), but even re-reading looking for rape, it just seemed like Cain going for it and Abel being like "okay" with irritation that he's decided to bang this asshole and like it.

Exactly. I'm usually very critical of things like that so I wasn't sure if I was missing something :P

Of course two rape apologists in denial would pat each other on the back...

You're a rape apologist.

TROLL IN THE DUNGEON

Well, you are. You're telling someone who was raped that they were not. What's stopping you from accidentally doing so IRL too?

(Anonymous) 2014-05-24 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Since the character in question is not a living person but a fictional character, we can't very well ask him if he thinks he was raped or not. Do you go and tell people IRL that they were raped even when they say they weren't?

(Anonymous) 2014-05-24 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
We can see the action unfold and that action is rapey as hell. It might mislead people to think they weren't raped, plus people IRL already make excuses for rapists.

Anything without clear, informed, prior consent is rape. There's no line to draw really, it's pretty straightforward.

(Anonymous) 2014-05-24 10:30 am (UTC)(link)
THIS. This so much. Unless you sign a contract before sex that clearly states that you're agreeing to have consensual sex with the other person, it's rape.
