Trust me, if you can actually stay awake during the anime the manga will blow your mind. ;)

I CAN'T STAY AWAKE. and that made me sad, because I could see the show had potential. Stupid me never even thought the manga would be better, even though I've always thought every manga was better than the anime XD

I actually saw the anime before I even knew about the manga, and gave up after the third episode. D= So when I saw the manga in my local bookstore I was really reluctant to buy it, but the art was absolutely beautiful, so I gave it a chance. I then went back the next day and bought the rest. XD

Trust me, you'll enjoy the manga if you saw potential in the anime. :) (Though it makes me sad that the anime is so tedious; the manga deserved better. DX)
