Not every ship has the sheer number of smug, bash-happy asses that populate NaruSaku fandom. Also, you kind of prove my point lol. I don't even care about Naruto the manga so much anymore but I cannot wait till it ends inconclusively/with some other pairing (because seriously, if Kishimoto were trying to do NaruSaku he'd have given us some more evidence that Naruto is still seriously interested in Sakura by now rather than just kept joking about it). There will be unmitigated joy when all the jerks who kept rubbing "LOL WE ARE THE MOST CANON EVER HAHAHA YOU'RE ALL DELUDED" start shrieking about how much Kishimoto sucks.

I'm rather ashamed of my fellow NaruSaku 'shippers, but "Not every ship has the sheer number of smug, bash-happy asses that populate NaruSaku fandom," I think most BIG 'ships do.

True. I think that because of influence from particularly nasty BNFs in NaruSaku fandom, though, NaruSaku fandom is worse than most. I do feel sorry for the sane fans.

I don't actually think any pairing is going to be canon (at least any pairing including Naruto, Sakura or Sasuke). I was kidding.

I don't quite agree that NaruSaku has the most crazy shippers, though. I ship NaruSaku and SasuSaku, among other pairings, and they both seem equally insane to me. (I did go through this one period where I insisted "ALL NARUHINA SHIPPERS ARE COMPLETELY BATSHIT!" and then one day I looked at my fellow shippers and went "...oh.")
