'cepting of course it isn't a choice between Kudos and comments. The folks who do kudosing don't leave comments anyway. Its would you rather have have kudoses, or nothing at all?

Now I know you, Stella, would prefer nothing at all in that case, cuz you're contrarywise like that, but for most folks a kudos or a "like" is the preferential option of those two.

I do both. If I like a story, it gets both a kudo and a comment, because that's what I'd love to get.

Uh, I both comment and give kudos (especially if the fic was written based on something I prompted over at say fic_promptly or comment_fic. So, yeah, there are people will will give kudos AND give feedback.
