My OTP was and always will be Logan/Jean. It was the only reason I watched the cartoon till the end.

I loved Rogue/Logan. Though I kinda liked Rogue/Night Crawler

aaah I was just watching Evolution on Netflix last night. That show started a love for Pietro that has never abated

All of a sudden I am really tempted to get Netflix just for that. I loved X-Men Evolution.
But I am still a student so can't really afford that much distraction.

That show is basically how I wound up being the Pietro of my friends group when, ten years ago, we assigned X-men characters to everyone.

I am startlingly okay with it.

Well, that show was full of tortured bishies, so I'm sure you're not the only one with that fantasy, OP. :]

Nothing wrong with silly wish-fulfillment fantasies, plus Evolution Pietro was pretty awesome so I cannot fault your taste.

Eh, I shipped Rogue/Pietro and Kitty/Lance.

I loved Kitty/Lance. They were adorable.

What's wrong with it? Everyone in the Mutant Frat House was just crying out for some life-fixing self-insert love, Principal Darkholme included. I love that show a lot and Evolution!Pietro is the best Pietro, always trying to impress his dad and demanding other people get him stuff from the fridge even though he can literally move faster than sound.

The answer is nothing; there's nothing wrong with it. It's fine to have silly wish-fulfillment fantasies. Also, X-Men Evolution was awesome and I wish it had 10 seasons, with emo teenage versions of every single X-Men villain so I could daydream happily of saving them all.

Oh gosh, right? That's what I loved most about the show, was the Brotherhood. This awkward family of misfits who aren't really villains yet, and could probably be alright people if they just had a little decent guidance.

Though it did kind of make me pissed off at Xavier because, hey...keep reaching out to this kids, dangit, you're their best hope. Nah.

Okay, I just found my old stories where Toad (movie and Ultimate version) gets redeemed with The Power Of Love. It's so painful to read, but, y'know, I sure liked writing 'em ten years ago.

Heck, Pietro doesn't even have all that far to go. Evo-Pietro, I mean. Yeah, he's Brotherhood and all, but really for the most part he's just a bit of a self-absorbed jerk with attention issues. From the flash-forward eventually he was gonna be a good guy, IIRC?

...That was cancelled in 2003? Fuck, I'm old. That show was my brain candy in college.

I still can't help but giggle at the Inuyasha dub VA/Evolution VA crossovers. I know it's silly, but everytime I hear Inuyasha's voice coming from Quicksilver it makes me giggle.

I had that issue with Evolution and Gundam Wing. I'm pretty sure my random and lasting desire to ship Scott and Kurt was because they were voiced by Trowa and Quatre's VAs.

I've never seen Gundam Wing tbh, to I'll take your word for it. :3

Scott/Kurt is a great pairing, not that most other ships are bad.
